Learn how and when your message counts reset for Pro tier subscribers.
When Does It Reset?
For Pro tier users, message counts reset automatically on:
1st of each month
00:00 UTC
Free vs Pro Reset Behavior
| Tier | Reset Behavior |
|---|---|
| Free | Never resets — 100 notifications lifetime |
| Pro | Monthly reset — 1,000 notifications per month |
Viewing Reset Countdown
Pro users can see when their quota resets by tapping the "messages sent" stat card on the Applications screen:
Toast will show:
Resets Mar 1, 00:00 UTC

What Gets Reset?
- Messages sent — Reset to 0 for all Pro users
- Application counts and other data remain unchanged
- Notification history is preserved
Technical Details
The reset is handled by an automated cron job that runs on the server:
- Runs at
00:00 UTCon the 1st of each month - Resets all Pro users in batch mode
- No action required from users
Timezone Note
The reset happens at 00:00 UTC, which may be a different time in your local timezone. For example:
- New York (EST): 7:00 PM previous day
- Los Angeles (PST): 4:00 PM previous day
- London (GMT): 12:00 AM same day
- Tokyo (JST): 9:00 AM same day
